Cleanup of Outdoor Classroom

The organization that promotes and develops parent involvement in the STEM School is called the Parent Leadership Team (PLT). The PLT is made up of parents who want to take an active role in developing, leading, and making decisions in activities to support the STEM School. A PLT member is committed to meeting monthly for PLT meetings, wants a leadership role in parental involvement, actively makes decisions on what opportunities to pursue, and organizes one or more of the activities PLT decides to pursue.

Any parent can choose to become a member of the Parent Leadership Team. There are no elections to be involved in the PLT and there are no elected positions within the PLT. The PLT does create committees within its work in order to best facilitate PLT member interests and skills. However, the committees change each year depending on the interests and desires of the PLT members.
